SEAL is proud to play a pivotal role in the EPiCC initiative (English Learner Roadmap Power in Collaboration Across California), a transformative statewide effort to support multilingual learners through the Educator Workforce Investment Grant: Effective Language Acquisition Programs (EWIG: ELAP). Funded by Assembly Bill 185, this $10 million initiative unites Sacramento, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange County Offices of Education to drive key goals:
- Integrated language development across content areas
- Bilingual and biliterate proficiency
- Statewide implementation of the EL Roadmap Policy
SEAL's Impact Across California
As a trusted partner, SEAL is actively supporting three of the four EPiCC zones, providing high-quality professional learning opportunities for P–12 educators, paraprofessionals, school leaders, and counselors. This year, SEAL is delivering 23 impactful sessions, including FREE virtual trainings and an in-person ELD Institute, equipping educators with the tools and strategies needed to effectively serve multilingual students.
Why Participate in EPiCC?
