Calling all California educators — teachers, paraprofessionals, school leaders, and counselors in grades P–12!
EPiCC offers completely free, high-quality professional learning designed to strengthen language and literacy instruction for multilingual learners in every classroom.
Funded through the Educator Workforce Investment Grant (EWIG: ELAP) under Assembly Bill 185, EPiCC (English Learner Roadmap Power in Collaboration Across California) is a $10 million statewide initiative that brings together the Sacramento, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange County Offices of Education to expand and support California’s English Learner Roadmap Policy in action.

EPiCC provides free professional learning opportunities to all interested teachers, paraprofessionals, school leaders, and school counselors serving grades P–12.
Each offering is designed to:
- Strengthen language development across all content areas
- Advance bilingual and biliterate proficiency for every student
- Support effective implementation of the English Learner Roadmap Policy
All EPiCC professional learning is aligned with California’s Quality Professional Learning Standards (QPLS) and supports effective language acquisition programs that lead to real, lasting impact for multilingual learners.
SEAL's Statewide Impact
As a trusted partner, SEAL is actively supporting three of the four EPiCC zones, providing high-quality professional learning opportunities for P–12 educators, paraprofessionals, school leaders, and counselors.
This year, SEAL is offering:
- Free virtual trainings with classroom-ready strategies
- In-Person ELD Institutes for hands-on collaboration
- 23 impactful sessions designed to equip educators with research-based tools
