Samantha joined the SEAL family in February 2023 and is a creative, quality-oriented and organized communications expert making a difference for communities in need through strategic planning and execution. She has done so in the digital marketing, public affairs and nonprofit sectors. Her passion for education runs deep: professionally Sam has helped promote programming to strengthen students from cradle to career; personally she’s been an AVID tutor, substitute teacher and speech language pathology volunteer. Her husband is committed to advancing young minds as well, he coaches youth and high school wrestling in East County San Diego. Having completed the Latina Success Leadership Program through MANA de San Diego, Sam is also committed to empowering Latinas through all stages of life. She’s been a mentor with their Hermintas program since 2019. A former member of the South County Economic Development Council, Sam helps advance San Diego’s south region too. She has a bachelor’s in communications from San Jose State University.
