What if I need to improve my language proficiency?
BTPDP provides resources to help you strengthen your Language Other Than English (LOTE) skills, including test preparation, coaching, and peer support.
How much time will I need to invest?
Although each teacher’s experience varies, expect to dedicate time to test prep, coaching sessions, and implementing new instructional strategies in your classroom—all paced to accommodate a full-time teaching schedule.
Is there financial support for credential exams and coursework?
Yes. The program covers costs such as CSET fees and other credential-related expenses. You’ll receive guidance on how to access these funds once accepted.

How do I apply?
Secure a letter of recommendation from your district, watch the Teacher Overview Video, and complete the online application. You’ll then meet with a SEAL BTPDP Coach to develop your Individualized Learning Plan (ILP).
