Celebrating diversity in schools fosters a welcoming learning environment for students and families from all backgrounds. Embracing home languages and cultures as assets creates opportunities for enriched learning.

- Support and celebrate cultural and identity-related events.
One of the things I will definitely implement from this series are gallery walks at the end of units to invite parents so that they are part of their child's learning. I also plan on providing parent workshops such as Interactive Read Aloud. - Participant 2024
