In this event provided by Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Kern County Superintendent of Schools and Tulare County Office of Education through EPICC, SEAL will provide a one-day workshop focused on empowering school leaders to enhance elementary dual language programs.

Free Event: Leading for Transformation: Tools, Strategies, and Networking for Dual Language Programs. Join in person or virtually!

Description:

Join us for a one-day workshop focused on empowering school leaders to enhance elementary dual language programs. This session will provide actionable strategies and practical tools drawn from the CDE’s Improving Multilingual and English Learner Education, the Center for Applied Linguistics’ Guiding Principles of Dual Language Education, and the EL Roadmap Administrator Toolkit.

Key highlights:
•Develop strategies to build community and family partnerships
• Identify essential professional development topics for dual language educators
• Learn practical tools to establish and sustain effective dual language programs
• Explore how dual language programming can drive equity in schools

Participants will also have opportunities to collaborate and network with peers.

Space is limited to the first 100 TK-5 dual language teams (include at least one administrator).
