Who Should Apply?

The program is designed for Elementary and Secondary Teachers with a California Clear Credential or CLAD looking to enhance their ability to teach bilingually.

How to Get Started

Applying for SEAL’s Bilingual Teacher Professional Development Program (BTPDP) involves two distinct steps: one for LEA/District leaders and one for individual educators. First, LEA/District leaders must submit a formal Request to Partner to initiate the process and signal their commitment to the program. Once this step is completed, educators from the approved district can submit their individual applications, which must include signed letters of support from their LEA/District leadership.   2. Submit the LEA/District Request to Partner Form
    • LEA/District Leaders - Complete the Request to Partner form. After submission, SEAL will schedule a meeting with you to review the program in detail and address your specific questions.
  3. Prepare Your Documents

  4. Educators Apply: Once you've reviewed the information and gathered all your required materials, you're ready to submit your application.
