Amy L. Boles is an educator with 28 years of experience and is currently the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources for the Oak Grove School District, located in South San Jose. For the past 26 years, she has served the Oak Grove School District, where, in addition to her current role, she has worked as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. As the principal at Parkview Elementary School, Boles successfully implemented the SEAL model in all grades TK-3 and has continued to support the model district-wide in her roles supporting from the central office. She was the Project Director of the Bilingual Teacher Professional Development Project (BTPDP), which organized a consortium of 10 districts providing stewardship to $650,000 to grow a bilingual teacher pipeline in California.
Throughout her educational career, Boles has recognized the importance of establishing and cultivating relationships with school community members. Her educational experiences have allowed her to collaborate with a diverse group toward increasing student achievement and well-being. She is committed to pursuing growth-minded, nurturing public education for all students where race, income, language, religious belief, or citizenship are not limiting factors in achievement.
